Microsoft has a BOIS Link detailing their Branch Office Infrastructure Strategy (BOIS). This is a set of guides for architecting a remote office infrastructure. The guides include strategies and which Microsoft technologies best leverage those ideas. Like the branch office-friendly options built in to the new R2 version of Windows Server 2003 and ISA Server 2004. There is also a write up of it on John Howard’s excellent blog which I highly recommend subscribing to if you are an IT Pro. Posted on Friday, June 24, 2005 9:00 AM | Back to top
