January 1st for many people is simply New Year’s Day. But there are those that continually monitor their inbox waiting anxiously to see if they receive a gift from Santa Ballmer. That gift is a Microsoft MVP award for 2009. There are multiple award cycles and days of renewal, but mine lands on Jan 1st and I’m very honored and pleased to report that I’m once again an MVP for 2009!
But the purpose of this post isn’t to gloat about my MVPness (say it a few times…you’ll get it). There are many that are first time MVP’s or that got renewed. Also, INETA has added new speakers to its speakers bureau and that email seems to have coincided with the MVP mailings.
Below are some of my peeps who I congratulate and celebrate with today (I’m sure there are others, but these are the ones I know from my Twitter feed so far)
Chris Williams – MVP and INETA Speaker
