CFL Week 8

Thursday, August 3, 2006 4:31 AM

Week 8 of the CFL season starts tonight, so here are my picks for the week:

Montreal over Toronto
Toronto is still hurting at all levels, and Montreal is...well, Montreal. No contest here.

Winnipeg over Hamilton
Jason Maas should be back in the lineup for Hamilton, but the Bombers look to be the real deal...well, against poor teams at least (they still haven't really been tested by any good teams other than Montreal, and they failed both of those). Winnipeg should take this easily.

BC over Edmonton
Which BC lion team will show up tonight? Even if its only the so-so team, Edmonton is horrible...not just in execution, but stupid mistakes like time count violations. BC should have a field day at home.

Calgary over Sask
Last week Sask took the win to tie the season series between these two, but i think Calgary is going to take the series after tonight. Hopefully the receivers for the Stamps have fixed hte issue with not catching the balls and running the wrong routes. Sask is a very good team though, but so is Calgary..they just didnt' show it last week.

Enjoy the games!
