Brian Scarbeau Insights from a seasoned Computer Science Trainer

The Microsoft Campus Connection rolled into Orlando last night at the University of Central Florida.  This program is geared toward college students and there was a room full of eager students in the room. The program starts off with an introduction to Vista. Blain Barton from Microsoft gave this presentation. Vista has many features that the college crowd liked but I think everyone is dissapointed that they can't use it now and have to wait for the OFFICIAL announcement which might be by the end of this year.

I was a little under the weather and I didn't stay for part 2 which talked about IT careers and the last part was given by Russ Fustino and he talked about visual web developer.

This is a great recruiting tool for Microsoft because many in the room were CS majors and interested in learning more about working for Microsoft.

Check out the campus connection website to see if this event comes to your town and plan to attend.
