Recelty a colleague was looking for a freebie IE DOM inspector. ( yes this is for SharePoint Javascript work ;) ).

He hasnt found one yet but came across this cool link.

That one shows the DOM tree when you mouse over an element - pretty cool -  could be effective for CSS debugging.
