Tangible Thoughts SharePoint, MOSS? and all the other questions

I know I am lazy; and I mean really lazy, because today I was wishing that Mike would provide the template for his WSSFAQ site as a .fwp.

Ofcourse right now it would be only me who would benefit, since I have a need for that template <evil grin>, but eventually as time goes on the uses for it would increase (and not only by me).

I see prospects for the template for creating

  • FAQs
  • Support sites (FAQ Variant)
  • Internal Request tracking
  • and whatever I need an FAQ variant at the time.

Are there any others out there who would like the template, I am thinking he might concede if we flood him with requests :) <evil grin>

Seriously it's not my call. I am not responsible for the desígn of the site, Jim Duncan is. he might easily feel that it contains too much of his work (and time) to make available. [He unlike me has a business to run and customers to satisfy (with classy designs).]

I doubt if you'd want a copy of the .fwp of the European "mirror" site (http://www.asaris-matrix.com/mvp-walsh/default.aspx) which is me.

It's not exactly state-of-the-art more state-of-the-box.

I think theres an idea brewing in this somewhere.
So far we have
- WebParts
- Site themes
- List Templates
- Site templates
- & Site skeletons (as in .fwp)
that we can share.

I mean most of us have done our bits in SharePoint, building intranets, or team sites, or applications. It would be cool and very constructive to the community if we can share our results or experiences in someway.
