https://tabledemo.codeplex.com/, I have created a new open-source project of an MVC form to produce by selection from drop-down lists, the CSS to style a table and a demonstration table. Here is a rather garish example of what can be achieved.
Here is a more tasteful table achieved again by just simple selection of properties.
This will be the 0.9.1 version that I will shortly load up to CodePlex.
